We recommend a scope based on the vehicle rather than applying the same service package to every model. Inspection areas can include:

- Road test and post-repair checks where appropriate
Why independent diagnosis matters
On modern electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, similar symptoms can come from very different causes. We review the complaint, confirm the vehicle configuration, undertake supported testing and explain what can reasonably be determined. A generic scan alone is not a definitive diagnosis.
Battery-electric versus plug-in hybrid BYD models
Battery-electric models do not have a combustion engine service, whereas plug-in hybrids require engine maintenance alongside checks of electrified systems. Service requirements also vary with model year, use and the applicable maintenance schedule. We confirm the correct model and specifications before carrying out maintenance.
Repair limits and safety
Brake repair procedures must match the vehicle and electronic system requirements; not every repair can be completed without manufacturer-specific tools. Our workshop does not claim dealer-only programming, warranty repairs or unrestricted high-voltage battery rebuilding.

Can you quote before inspecting the car?
For fault repairs, we do not quote solely from an external diagnosis, fault code or photos. We first inspect the vehicle and then recommend the appropriate repair scope.
Does independent servicing mean you are a BYD dealer?
No. We are independent of BYD, and some warranty, recall and manufacturer-controlled procedures must be performed by an authorised provider.
Can I book directly online?
You can submit a booking request through West End Service Centre. Submitting the form does not confirm an appointment; the workshop will contact you to confirm.
